Perkins Security Package
If you are serving alcohol at your event, we require this security package to keep our horses and your guests safe and your celebration stress-free. This is to ensure that no one trespasses into the barns where the horses are stabled -package includes our staff that are dedicated to overseeing and caring for the horses during your event, as they are privately owned by individual families.

Rehearsal Dinner
Host your rehearsal dinner at Perkins Stables with a 3-hour rental that includes time to practice your ceremony, set up and gather with friends and family to dine, celebrate, and relax the night before your big day.

Cleaning Package
Add the cleaning package to your event and just remove food, trash, and alcohol on Saturday night. We will wipe everything down, vacuum, and put tables/chairs away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we use our own vendors?
Yes- Our venue is an open vendor facility, which means you are welcome to use your own bar service, catering, DJ/band, and lighting. Most couples find this to be much more cost-effective, and it can add a more personal touch to your event. Vendors should carry insurance. Ask us about our list of preferred vendors!
Can we have our ceremony outdoors?
Yes- we are currently in the process of improving our outdoor ceremony space which is located down by our beautiful, oversized pond. This new ceremony space will be covered so couples willstill be able to utilize in the case of inclement weather.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Absolutely- we do not provide any decorations. You are allowed to decorate within reason without leaving marks behind (nail or tack holes) and everything must removed within the times specified in the agreement. We recommend using command strips for hanging.
Can we use fireworks?
Unfortunately, no - Perkins Stables is located within the Lenexa city limits; therefore, Open fires, fireworks, firearms, and floating lanterns are strictly prohibited.
Do you offer planning or day of coordination for our event?
No, we are a rental facility only. However, we do have a list of recommendations if you are looking for a specific vendor!
